Well, I did say I was working out the kinks. Also? 1000+ years should surely be enough time to sufficiently work out genetic kinks. I would hope! Maybe I can work the eyes into some cool kind of origin-story for the Al Bhed. :P
That is all kinds of adorable. Sure, it's not entirely plausible.... but cute story is cute!! Oh, if Kimahari had been given Tidus to raise -- and Yuna had been watched over by Auron instead... oh my. The possibilities.
